Glam Your Closet

You know you love your clothes and accessories right?

So why shove them into your closet or drawer like the old high-school t-shirts you won't give away?

In the January issue of In Style magazine they offer up some great tips for vamping up your closet and setting your favorite pieces out for display...

In Style says you should aim to go beyond wire racks for accessories storage! Try purchasing a few clear glass cylinders and throwing your belts or headbands into them! Or instead of hanging things on the back of the closed door …look for some inexpensive drawer pulls to hang your "underthings" on… giving your closet a flirtier feel!
·         Add a shot of color to your closet floor with a vibrant rug!
·         Look for hangers that work well with your clothes!  If you have the problem of having silky shirts slide off your hangers buy hangers that are made of velvet so that your clothes stay in place!
·         Show off your assets!  Instead of throwing all your clutches on a shelf try standing them up next to each other and placing book ends on each side so that they stay up and appear to be a display!
·         Lastly aim to display clothing and accessories like art so that the closet becomes a portrait of your own style!
