When You Want To Tread Lightly
As an opening statement, I do have to say that high-heels. are. awesome.
But sometimes, despite all their fabulous-ness, you want to chuck your heels into oblivion after blisters, toe-pinching, etc.
Introducing CitySlips...
As NYU students living in the city, Susie Levitt and Katie Shea were very
familiar with the pain that was caused by *strappy stilettos* and *pointy
pumps*. Their love/hate relationship with these shoes prevented them from
wanting to totally give up wearing these wardrobe staples. Yet, corporate
internships, dinner dates, subway dashes, and the NYC social scene led to
too many moments of hobbling back to their Union Square apartments; The
front door never seemed to come soon enough.
After many encounters with shoeless socialites and barefooted babes, Susie
and Katie came up with an idea, and CitySlips were born. These entrepeneurial friends came up with a concept and design that allowed women to carry back-up flats comfortably, compactly and conveniently. The girls looked to their friends for opinions, NYU professors for help, and the time of many NYC professionals and mentors. Now, almost a year later, they have a product that is funk-tional, fashionable and affordable!

CitySlips is a new, patent-pending product designed especially for women.
The foldable ballet flats come with their own protective carrying case and
can be stored in any standard bag, allowing women to switch easily into more
comfortable footwear after any well-heeled event. The best part? The
CitySlips pouch then converts into a larger tote bag to store those “killer”
high heels. The shoes retail for under $30
